Description

Serving as a member of a dynamic and service focused team, the SFS Service Coordinator participates in Wellesley’s recruitment and retention efforts by providing superior service to all SFS constituents.

These constituents will include admission applicants, enrolled students, parents, alumnae, faculty and staff, as well as other callers and visitors. The SFS Coordinator will respond to questions and resolve issues related to financial aid, educational financing, student employment and student billing inquiries through various points of contact, including in-person, telephone, email or direct mail. The SFS Coordinator may also have specific responsibilities for office processes, as assigned.

Student Financial Services is located in the Schneider Center, along with a number of other offices that are focused on student services and success (Registrar’s office, Class Dean’s, Wellesley College Student Aid Society, Office of International Studies, and Transportation). The SFS Coordinator will share primary support for a service-focused department with the highest attention to customer service, but will also have some general building responsibilities.

Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Requirements

High school diploma and 1-3 years office experience. Knowledge and experience with current technologies and skills including database, Word, and Excel. Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service skills a must. Experience working in a team based environment. Must be able to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
